Samantha Aldous is a freshman at Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, WA and the oldest of Alan’s 4 children.  She enjoys writing poems, and short stories on her iPad, journal and typewriter (pictured above).

We decided to give Samantha a column at LYP because writing is one of her clear passions.

We feel LYP should promote passion and talent wherever it exits.  Where better to begin than in our own back yard?
